A BILL to amend and reenact §5A-1A-2 of the code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to changing the composition of the employee suggestion award board.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That §5A-1A-2 of the code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 1A. EMPLOYEE SUGGESTION AWARD BOARD.
§5A-1A-2. Board created; term of members.
There is hereby continued an employee suggestion award board which shall be composed of the secretary of administration or his designee, the secretary of the department of commerce, labor and environmental resources or his designee, the president of the Senate or his designee, the speaker of the House of Delegates or his designee, one member two members of the House of Delegates to be appointed by the speaker of the House of Delegates, one member two members of the Senate to be appointed by the president of the Senate, and the secretary of the department of health and human resources or his designee, the chief technology officer of the governor's office of technology or his designee, and the state auditor or his designee. The terms of the members of the board shall be consistent with the terms of the offices to which they have been elected or appointed.



NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to change the composition of the Employee Suggestion Award Board.
